Giving by the Parish Giving Scheme

The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is the preferred way for financial giving to the work of Holy Trinity Church.

Those who give in this way benefit from a system that is secure, confidential and easy to use, while supporting the Church today and for the future.

There are significant benefits compared to other ways of giving.

  • Gift aid is automatically processed every month.
  • Givers can choose to automatically increase their giving by the rate of inflation every year if they wish.
  • Givers can choose to give anonymously if they would like to.

The easiest way to set this up is by calling the PGS registration sergice on 0333 002 1271. When you ring to set up your donation you will need your bank details to hand. You will also need to confirm our name: '[Holy Trinith Church, Theale, and confirm the church’s PGS registration number which is 270627360.

Parish Giving Scheme forms are also available inside the entrance to Holy Trinity church, or by contacting Wendy Larkin by emailing wendy_larkin@hotmail.com

Give as you earn

If your employer has a give-as-you-earn scheme this may be the simplest way to give. There is no need to fill in a gift aid form as your contribution to the work of our church is made via a deduction from your pre-tax earnings, which can be particularly beneficial to higher rate taxpayers as there is no need to enter your contribution on your tax return in order to claim higher rate relief.
